ANDO Salon’s Balayage technique uses the Air Touch method to achieve a natural, sun-kissed look with soft, blended highlights.
This technique works by separating the hair with shadowing using an airbrush technique, giving you a soft and seamless gradient from roots to tips.
What is Balayage?
Balayage is a French hair coloring technique that creates a natural, sun-kissed effect. The color is applied in sweeping motions from mid-lengths to ends, and the result is a beautiful, hand-painted gradient with no harsh lines.
How does Balayage work?
Balayage is a hand-painted coloring technique that starts with shadowing and lightening sections of hair. This method creates depth and texture, resulting in a natural sun-kissed look. Unlike traditional highlights, Balayage does not involve foils, so it gives a more natural, lived-in look.
Who is Balayage for?
Balayage is ideal for those who want a natural, low-maintenance color with a seamless blend of highlights. It’s perfect for those who love the look of sun-kissed hair without the need for frequent touch-ups.
Maintenance & Longevity
Balayage requires minimal maintenance, typically lasting 2-3 months before needing a toner touch-up. Root touch-ups are recommended every 6 months. This technique is known for its low upkeep and natural fading as hair grows.
Price: $300 – $500
Maintenance: Recommended every 2-3 months for a touch-up.
Procedure Time: 3-6 hours
Permanent Hair Straightening includes two options: Keratin Smoothing and Chemical Straightening, both designed to transform curly, frizzy hair into smooth, sleek strands.
How does Permanent Hair Straightening work?
Permanent straightening involves applying a chemical solution to your hair, followed by the use of a flat iron to lock in the straightened look. Keratin Smoothing is a gentler method, replenishing the hair’s natural keratin and leaving your hair smoother with a bit of curl still intact. Chemical Straightening is a more intense treatment that fully eliminates curls and frizz, giving you perfectly straight hair.
What’s the difference between Keratin Smoothing and Chemical Straightening?
Keratin Smoothing: Adds keratin back into the hair, reducing frizz and curl without completely eliminating the natural texture.
Chemical Straightening: A permanent solution that fully straightens the hair and eliminates frizz and curls.
Who is Permanent Hair Straightening for?
Keratin Smoothing: Ideal for those with curly or wavy hair who want to reduce frizz and smooth the hair while maintaining a little natural curl.
Chemical Straightening: Best for those who want completely straight hair with minimal curl or frizz.
Maintenance & Longevity
For Keratin Smoothing, a treatment should be renewed every 2-3 months to keep the hair smooth and frizz-free.
Chemical Straightening requires periodic touch-ups every 2-3 months for maintaining a straight look, but you will need to reapply it to newly grown hair.
Who should avoid Permanent Straightening?
If your hair has been previously treated with bleach or highlights that involved heavy lifting, Chemical Straighteningmay not be suitable. Keratin Smoothing can be used on colored hair that hasn’t been bleached.
